BOOKING THIS SERVICE
Please call 0800 70 70 60 and ask to book a dial a driver or book with us online using the below enquiry form. Please provide us with your name, phone number, where your car is parked and your destination.
We charge by the kilometre, so you are welcome to call us for an estimate. You can use Google maps to calculate this using your pick-up, stop-overs and final drop-off address details.
Pre-bookings after midnight are essential as we usually close around this time unless demand dictates otherwise.
Please ensure your vehicle is clean, safe to drive, has full insurance for over 25’s, warrant & rego. As your car turns into our drivers workplace, no drinking or smoking is permitted.
Step One
Once you have booked a Dial A Driver, a team of two professional drivers will arrive to pick you up. One driver will drive you and your passengers in your own car to your desired destination. Male and female preference of drivers available upon request.
Step Two
The second driver will be following safely behind you and your vehicle, recording the kilometres travelled and carrying eftpos/credit card facilities. The following vehicle can also comfortably fit up to two more passengers for no additional charge.
Step Three
If you have planned stops along the journey, such as food pick ups or passenger drop offs, please let us know at the time of booking or when our driver picks you up so we can accurately schedule our service and provide more precise pricing estimates.
Step Four
Once arrived at the final stop, we finalise payment via cash, EFTPOS, credit card or taxi chit voucher, return your keys and wish you a good day. If you enjoyed the service you received from your driver, you are most welcome to ask for the same driver again in the future.
Pricing
Our Dial A Driver service is charged by the kilometre with prices starting from $50 which include the first 5KM. Difference cash & card prices apply.
A waiting time fee $1 per minute applies from 5 minutes after your booked time or when the driver arrives and contacts you. This fee also applies for extra stops and accumulates throughout the trip.
Example: 10KM is $65 card or $60 cash. 20KM $106 card or $100 cash. 35KM is $165 card or $155 cash. Prices include GST and
You can request to view the drivers price list and job sheet upon completion. We can also provide GST receipts by email.
Additional charges may apply:
$50 Call Out Fee - This fee applies should our drivers arrive at the pick-up location and you decide to cancel the trip without prior notice to the driver or operator. This also applies for no-shows and will be pursued.
$150 Soiling Fee - This fee applies if either your own car or one of our vehicles is soiled
$1.50 per KM after 25KM from the Auckland CBD to your pick-up point may apply. Typical for wedding venues in Kumeu or suburbs such as Drury.
$25 Heavy truck or trailer fee - where a class 2 licensed driver is required for driving heavy trucks or trailers
15% Surcharge applies during 4-6PM on Monday to Friday work days. This also applies for Christmas day and New Years Eve bookings.
